The lady looked pissed off from the gecko mind you I have never had any issues here since I started coming here, 7yrs now. Tremendously immaculate with her work. They were always fully staffed and took clients with no appointments.
I was trying to be open minded and didn't want to say anything. Yes we try to keep everything together thats what makes Mary Jane so normal. I've had good experiences here, but after this last time I will not be coming back due to the rude woman who obviously was speaking disrespectfully about my sister and I in her language.
Star Nails - We started off wrong from the gecko again. I am very frustrated and very pissed off quite frankly.
A bit on the pricy side but definitely worth it. I go and get my pedicures done here. I don't usually do my nails but maryjaine a get a set it has to be with Rosy she is amazing at was she does. It was for my wedding day and they were absolutely lovely, have gone there ever since. So my rating wont change cause I don't think that this maryjaine represents the place. I came a couple of days ago to do a pedicure. The lady looked pissed off from the gecko mind you I have never had any issues here since I started coming here, 7yrs now. She started, I'm going to go in name them but not in order. She cut my toe nails without maryjaine not a big deal 2. She half assed wrapped my legs with the towels. She didn't wrap up my feet in plastic wrap, like they usually do. She barely even scrubbed my feet, which now You look at my feet and it doesn't even seem like I got a pedicure. Today I came in, to get a gel manicure. Lord and behold I got her again. I was trying to be open minded and didn't want to say anything. We started off wrong from the gecko again. First she started of by using her drill to take off the top coat of the gel polish I've had it done a few times to know that you can take it off with just the acetone. She Foiled my fingers and then scraped of some more of the polish and then reached over to grab the drill again. I told her that I didn't want to do it that way and that I knew it took longer. That I didn't mind if it took longer. After that she just seemed aggravated. She half assed did my manicure and After that I couldn't sit with her no more. I asked for someone else to finish my nails and I was done. She doesn't seem to be a people person. That's just my own biased opinion. I had an awesome experience ay Star Nails. Met wonderful staff who maryjaine took care of my nails and waxing and prices were very fair. Also got a personalized box for all the tools needed for my nail needs. This location is not walk in friendly so don't waste your item coming if you haven't set an appointment. Management really needs to hire more nail techs to accommodate walk in clients. Typically I love this salon. It is clean maryjaine the services provided are usually exceptional. However I went to a nail tech named Julia this last week to get white gel. There were specs of something in my gel polish so I returned to have her redo my nails. She refused to start from scratch as she just maryjaine more gel maryjaine top, then was very rude to me and told me I need to go to another nail tech next time. Very disappointed with her customer service. I've been a customer of Star nails since 2005. For the last 2 to 3 years I've noticed a change. They never have opening for anything. No walk in appointments ever. I've never experienced this from a nail salon. Their work has been lacking as well. The maryjaine isn't applied correctly and will peel. I've tried to see if it was just bad luck on my part but it isn't. Their convenient location isn't worth the troubles. The most unprofessional and the worst place. Manager was rude maryjaine I was treated with no regards and courtesy. They did not finish my nails because they were not doing what I asked them to do and then manager proceeded to charge me even after they did not finish the work. I went to Target the other night maryjaine whilst online I noticed that the customer in front of me had gorgeous nails. Where did you get them done. Nancy took so much time and effort doing my gel manicure it almost made me cry tears of happiness. I have never had a nail technician ever care about such detail to my nails. I'm a boring gal and generally do only 3 different colors maroon, dark red or nude but she pushed me to try a color called Ferrari red. I absolutely love it and all it's flashy glory. I generally stay away from glitters because they are a pain in the butt to remove but I can't hate on my decision. I think that I have found the best nail salon in the High Maryjaine. So I told her she didn't do a very good job so she asked me if she could fix it before I left I was so aggravated already I said no and left. I will never be back. For that price I could get a whole new set. There is far too much competition to have to deal with that when I'm trying to get a simple service. I went here a couple weeks ago for my first time and was skeptical but man was i amazed. It was so clean everyone was so friendly. Nini ended up doing my nails and she was so awesome. So sweet, friendly and made you feel comfortable. I will definitely go back to see her again she's a kick ass nail artist. Great customer service for a decent price. What I love most is their pedicure chairs. It was really new, and they use disposable jet liner. I've heard a lot of story of feet contaminations but being that the chair's jet is disposable, I don't have to worry about it. I would refer all my friends to this salon. So I get there around 6:45 and she corrects me saying it was an hour ago and they close at 7:00. She told me she'd see if anybody can take me even though they close in 15 minutes and I said I can come back early tomorrow morning, I don't want to hold you back. She assured me that the owner could take me and get me out of there within an hour. Now that's good customer service!!!. And she can do anything you want.
